SERVICES   

DOVES has a 24 hour hotline and holds outreach groups for victims of domestic violence. There is a six-month shelter program available to assist families in dealing with the effects of living in fear and in helping them to heal and go onto a voilence free life. Safehousing, on a short-term basis is available in crisis situations. DOVES also offers legal help with gaining a Temporary Restraining Order, child custody and/or visitation, as well as referrals to additional agencies that address the victim's needs.

Men as well as women are encouraged to contact DOVES if these services are needed. Please call DOVES hotline at 1-800-851-7601 .  If you are in immediate danger call 911. The Sheriff department can assist you in contacting DOVES, once you are out of the immediate danger. DOVES Outreach offices are open 9am-5pm Monday through Friday, Walk-ins are welcome. The Big Bear office number is 866-1546 and the Crestline office number is 909-338-8104.
